FAQ
THE COLLAGEN
Type I & III hydrolysed bovine collagen peptides, 10g per bottle.
Most ready-to-drink collagen drinks pack in just 1 to 3g, more a gesture than a real dose. Research on hydrolysed collagen generally points to an effective daily range of 2.5 to 15g depending on the goal, with skin-focused studies usually in the 2.5 to 5g range. 10g sits at a genuinely useful amount, not a number chosen to look good on a label.
Hydrolysis breaks large collagen proteins down into smaller peptides so the body can actually absorb them. Collagen in its natural form is too large and complex to be used effectively, hydrolysis is what makes it a practical everyday ingredient.
Bovine collagen naturally contains both Type I and Type III, while marine collagen is almost entirely Type I. Type III works alongside Type I in skin structure and also shows up in the gut lining and blood vessels, so bovine covers more ground. Peptide size and processing quality matter just as much as the source animal, but bovine also comes with a simpler, more transparent supply chain.
Collagen is a natural protein already found in the body, in skin, hair, nails, joints and connective tissue. Many people include it in their diet as part of a broader wellness routine.
DRINKING A LITTLE CARE
Yes. It's designed to fit into a daily routine, a little care every day rather than an occasional treat.
No. Because the collagen is bovine-derived, A Little Care isn't suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
As with any new supplement or functional beverage, we'd recommend checking with your doctor or midwife before adding it to your routine if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.
Hydrolysed collagen peptides aren't commonly associated with medication interactions, but if you're managing a health condition or taking medication, it's worth a quick check with your doctor before adding any new supplement to your diet.
STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
Keep it refrigerated below 4°C at all times. Once opened, best enjoyed within 3 days. Don't drink it if the bottle looks bloated, that's a sign it's no longer good.
Minimum 60 days from delivery, up to 90 days if kept refrigerated the whole time. Check the best-before date on the bottle to be sure.
A gentle shake or swirl before drinking helps make sure everything's evenly blended, since it's a natural product without added stabilisers.
INGREDIENTS & ALLERGENS
It's derived from bovine collagen and may contain traces of nuts.
No added sugar. The only sweetness comes from the cold-pressed fruit juice base itself.
